Looking for People to Work With

Hey everyone, I'm Damian.

I've been working on this open-source multiplayer RPG platform called Reldens for a while now. It's gotten pretty big, but honestly, I'm getting a bit burned out doing everything myself. Development, testing, managing the website, working on an example game - it's a lot.

So I'm reaching out to see if anyone wants to jump in and help. You could work on the platform, the game I'm building, or whatever interests you most.

If You Code

The whole thing runs on JavaScript and Node.js, with Colyseus handling the multiplayer stuff. Pretty standard web tech, nothing too exotic.

I could really use help with:

• Adding features or fixing the ones that are half-broken
• Cleaning up my messy code (there's definitely some)
• Building tools that work with the platform
• Making the example game actually look like a real game

Don't worry about formal processes or anything. Just hit me up and we'll figure it out as we go.

If You Make Art

The platform itself doesn't need visuals, but my example game sure does. Right now it's mostly placeholder stuff and Time Fantasy assets. Would love to get some original art in there.

Could be anything really — characters, enemies, UI stuff, animations. Even just a few sprites would make a huge difference. I'm not expecting anyone to redesign the whole thing.

Community Stuff

I'm terrible at social media. Like, really bad. I spend all my time coding and forget that people need to actually know this thing exists.

If you're good at posting updates, making videos, or just talking about projects in dev communities, that would be incredibly helpful. I have no idea what I'm doing on that front.

Money Stuff

Look, I'm not asking for donations, but I won't say no if you want to throw some money at server costs. This whole thing is self-funded and always will be. There's no premium version, no paid features, nothing like that.

Any support just means I can spend more time on development instead of worrying about hosting bills.
