The audio_categories entity groups the audios and controls how many audios of the same category can play at the same time.

Managing audio categories in the admin panel

Audio categories are in the Audio section of the admin sidebar, under Categories (/reldens-admin/audio-categories). The sample data includes music (single audio) and sound.

Key Properties

• category_key: Unique category identifier
• category_label: Unique label shown in the player audio settings
• enabled: Only the enabled categories are loaded
• single_audio: When enabled, only one audio of the category plays at a time (playing a new one stops the previous one)
• created_at and updated_at: Timestamps

• audio: Audios of the category
• audio_player_config: Per player settings of the category
