The chat_message_types entity defines the types of messages shown in the chat and the chat tab where each type is displayed.

Managing chat message types in the admin panel

Chat message types are in the Chat section of the admin sidebar, under Chat Message Types (/reldens-admin/chat-message-types), see Chat System. The installation includes message, joined, system, private, damage, reward, skill, teams, global and error.

Key Properties

• key: Type identifier
• show_tab: When enabled, the type has its own tab in the chat UI
• also_show_in_type: Another type whose tab also shows these messages (for example the general message tab)

• chat_message_types: The type referenced by also_show_in_type
• chat: Messages of the type
